Engine Diagnostics and Repair

Fault codes, loss of power, hard starts and rough running, traced to the cause.

Can a mobile mechanic diagnose a diesel engine problem on site?

Yes. Diesel Rx brings diagnostic equipment to your truck, reads the fault codes and tests the systems behind them to find the cause. Many engine problems, including sensor faults, fuel delivery issues, coolant leaks and belt or hose failures, can be repaired where the truck sits. We work on all makes and models.

When to call us

How the job goes

  1. Read the codes

We pull active and stored fault codes from the engine computer.

  2. Test, do not guess

Codes point to a system. We test that system to find the failed part.

  3. Repair on site when possible

Sensors, lines, hoses, belts and many fuel system parts can be replaced on location.

  4. Verify

We clear the codes, run the engine and confirm the fault is gone.

Good to know

Internal engine work and major overhauls need a shop. We will tell you which side of that line your problem falls on.
